Our Specialties
Decals
We custom design and size all of our caliper logos, then cut them in-house. If you want to retain the factory look on your calipers, we can match the exact colour and size of the OEM logos. Alternatively, we can change the logo to whatever you like. After the decal is placed onto the final colour coat, we spray 2 clear coats on top, to provide a high gloss factory finish.
Caliper Painting
Before – After
Our Process
Our process begins with lifting the vehicle on our 2-post hoist, and removing the wheels. We then begin cleaning and decontaminating the calipers to ensure maximum adhesion of the paint. The calipers are then sanded down in all areas which allows the primer to properly bond. We then mask up any parts not to be painted such as the rotors, pads, bleed nipples and suspension components.
The painting process consists of 2 primer coats, 3 colour/base coats, followed by 2 clear coats which are done over the logos if you choose to have any. All overspray is extracted using an industrial fan which is then filtered and expelled outside our workshop. This means we do not cover your vehicle with a plastic sheet which can lead to swirl marks when removing. All paint is high temp rated and the entire process is warranted for 2 years.

Standout with Custom Brake Caliper Painting Service
Cars and the automotive industry have evolved from regular vehicles to more sophisticated machines that speak a lot about their owners. In the past, brake calipers were hidden features in cars.
However, in today’s world of custom and performance cars, they stand out due to the increasing size of custom wheels and sleek modern styling with wide-open spokes.
Choosing the right brake caliper paint helps complement your custom wheels drawing quality attention and properly highlighting the style of your rims.

Brake Caliper Painting Sydney When Quality Matters
You don’t need to look any further; our skilled caliper painters have an outstanding reputation for high-quality brake caliper painting service. At CDM Motorsports, we only use PPG paint and clear coats because they are the best available.
All of our paint is custom mixed to a desired shade/colour. This means we can precisely match any paint code you can provide.
We also use PPG because it is used by leaders in the automotive industry like Ferrari and Maserati. Because of the consistency, ease of use, and long-lasting performance of PPG products, our caliper painters have been using them for many years, and we have seen fantastic results.
Our Unique Brake Caliper Painting Process
We start by lifting your car with our hoist so we can remove the wheels. After that, we carefully clean the brake calipers to remove dirt and dust.
After that, the calipers are sanded to a smooth surface so that the primer has a good surface to adhere to. This includes the rotors, pads, and bleed nipples that aren’t going to be painted.
Two primer coats, three-colour/base coats, and two clear coats are used in the painting process, with the logos applied last. The overspray is filtered and expelled from our workshop using an industrial fan. The entire process comes with a two-year warranty, and all paint is high-temperature rated.

Caliper Painting FAQs
Will there be any overspray on my car?
We use a PPF and complete filtration system which takes all the leftover fumes and filters them before expelling them outside the back of our complex. This means we do not need to cover the car to avoid overspray, which can leave small scratches on your vehicle when removed. The same for Vinyl wrap.
